Plates and Playlists

Plates and Playlists

Welcome to Plates & Playlists, a peer-to-peer fundraiser, and we are so grateful that you are interested in participating. This fundraiser is all about the magic that occurs with good food, great music and amazing conversations. Whether you gather your friends at a favourite restaurant, order takeout for a cozy night in or host a dinner at home, Plates & Playlists is about bringing people together, listening to and talking about good music and making a difference for mental health through music.

Here is how it works

  1. Plan your Plates & Playlists Get Together - Pick a night in November or December that works for you and gather your friends - at home, a restaurant or anywhere you love. Register by selecting "Create a Team" above.

  2. Build Your Playlist—When inviting your guests, ask them to share a meaningful song that will create a soundtrack for the night.

  3. Set Your Goal—Aim to raise $300 (or more), and ask your friends to pitch in. With everyone contributing, you'll help us reach our $30,000 goal across 100 events. All donations are eligible for a tax receipt.

  4. Celebrate, Share, and Win—Snap pics of the food, playlist party moments, and good times and post them with #PlatesAndPlaylists so we can celebrate with you. We've got prizes for the top fundraisers.

This is more than just a meal or playlist party - it's a chance to reconnect, share stories and make a lasting impact on mental health in our communities.
