This intimate tournament is filled with music, stories, and good vibes. You’ll get to experience the iconic Glenn Abbey Golf Club and interact with special guests like Gil Moore, Andy Maize, Steven Page, Jaclyn Kenyen, and golf trick shot artist Todd Kierstead.

The Cause
Youth across Ontario are struggling with mental health more than ever before. Today, 1 in 4 Canadians report mental health concerns, and in Ontario, youth emergency room visits for mental health and addiction have jumped 135%. Despite this, 75% of young people don’t ask for help when they need it. Too many kids are suffering in silence, unsure where to turn.
The Awesome Music Hour is a lifeline—a program that gives at-risk youth a safe space to express themselves through music, build confidence, and develop practical skills to manage stress and anxiety.
HERE’S THE HEART OF IT
The funds raised from this tournament go directly to expanding that program at Peel Children’s Aid Society’s Trailblazer Centre, right here in our community. This program uses the power of music to break down barriers and help youth navigate mental health challenges. The youth that participated in our recent pilot made new connections and expressed feelings of a stronger sense of belonging. Program leads at the Trailblazer Center highlighted that it was a unique way to help the youth build confidence and that they saw “quieter more reserved youth come alive during the sessions.”
